Hi, I'm
Snehansh Roy Chaudhary.
Wordy Doctor.

about me

I was born in a small town of Galway, on the west coast of Ireland, to two lovely immigrant Indian people, whom I call Mom and Dad. My parents hail from a very underdeveloped, overpopulated city of Patna in India. After gaining valuable overseas experience as doctors and fighting years of homesickness, my parents decided to move back to Patna, which is where I grew up. My nani’s (maternal grandmother’s) hometown is Bodh Gaya, the place where Gautam Buddha found his enlightenment. I believe this to be my roots, and no wonder why I feel like “the enlightened one” sometimes!

My destiny was pre-determined they say, as I come from a family of Indian doctors. Quite expectedly I finished medical school and relocated to England, in search of a better life. I spent a few years in Cambridge & Norwich as a junior doctor before getting into the Clinical Radiology training programme in Liverpool. This is now my home, and I couldn’t be in a better place in my life.
